Great video from youtuber Tyler Oakley about the Gay and Bi Blood Ban.

Still so important to me. How can gays be allowed to donate their organs after dying, but they can’t donate their blood while they’re living? This must change.

I really hope no one turns me in for this, but I always lie on the test. I give the double red transfusion every time I’ve given blood (5 times now) and today I just got another call for me to do another double red. The lady on the phone even told me “We need your blood type and would be really grateful if you could come in for another double red transfusion.” So, you can dash me for lying, but I’m happy I can give my blood to someone. Excuse me for caring.

I’m type O and totally clean, so I’m not going to let some bigots stop me from doing what’s right.
